Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Little Havana at 1548 SW 8th St, Miami, El Pub Restaurant offers an authentic taste of Cuban and Caribbean cuisine that truly captures the spirit of Latin American flavors. This warmly inviting restaurant and bar is a beloved local gem where the rich traditions of Cuban cooking come alive in every dish, accompanied by an atmosphere pulsing with lively energy and cultural pride.

From the moment you step inside El Pub, you are greeted by the intoxicating aroma of slow-cooked meats and freshly baked Cuban bread. The menu is a treasure trove of classic Cuban favorites and Latin American delights. Sandwich lovers will find themselves enchanted by the Cubano Sandwich—a masterful layering of ham, Swiss cheese, roasted pork, pickles, and mustard nestled between crispy, buttery Cuban bread ($13.00). Equally irresistible is the ChoriPan, featuring grilled sliced chorizo that bursts with smoky spice on freshly toasted Cuban bread ($14.00). For a heartier feast, the Milanesa De Pollo offers a decadent breaded chicken breast topped with ham and Swiss cheese, smothered in red sauce ($22.00), sure to satisfy any craving.

One cannot visit El Pub without indulging in their soul-warming soups like the Sopa De Frijoles Negros (black bean soup), available in convenient ToGo sizes, which delivers that comforting, earthy flavor characteristic of Cuban home cooking. For poultry enthusiasts, the selection of chicken dishes such as Bistec De Pollo (grilled chicken breast) and the crispy, golden Chicharron De Pollo (fried chicken chunks) brings tender, juicy satisfaction to every bite.

The dining experience at El Pub transcends food alone. Customers rave about the lively and immersive atmosphere enriched by live Cuban music, creating an authentic Sabor Cubano that makes every visit special. The décor exudes old-world charm, reminiscent of classic Cuban establishments, and adds a layer of warmth and nostalgia to your meal. From Mojito Mondays, where expertly crafted mojitos deliver a refreshing kick, to vibrant live bands and karaoke nights, El Pub is as much about celebration and community as it is about exceptional cuisine.

Guests consistently praise the attentive and friendly service; servers like Ray make every visitor feel welcomed and understood—even when accents might vary. The combination of flavorful dishes, soothing black bean soups, perfectly prepared sandwiches, and carefully mixed cocktails creates a sensory symphony that leaves diners eager to return.

Whether you are seeking a casual lunch with family or an animated evening out with friends, El Pub Restaurant embodies the heart and soul of Cuban gastronomy and hospitality. It’s no surprise that this beloved Little Havana hotspot is heralded by locals and travelers alike as a must-visit for an unforgettable Cuban culinary adventure.

Food was fab. Live Cuban music. Our server Ray was very helpful even tho our Scottish accents were strong but she was very understanding and we got exactly what we ordered. I didn’t take a picture of the food but I did our cocktails. Atmosphere was lively and just what we wanted from our first visit to little Havana. Highly recommend.

We had a great lunch with our three kids. Every dish was delicious — the meat and the sides were perfect. But what we loved the most was the live Cuban music. We’ll definitely come back!

I went to El Pub multiple times during my stay and ordered different dishes; everything is flavorful and well seasoned. The decor is charming and old timey; there was a live band on Saturday, and they have karaoke on Wednesdays. The service was amazing.

I didn’t realize this, but about two years ago I came to this same restaurant on spring break! Well, anyways, I came here again and actually got something other than beans and rice, and the sandwich the server recommended me was so delicious! Their strawberry mojito was also very yummy, and so were the two shots I ordered! Deffo the best spot in the nearby area.

This is one of those places in Little Havana that has an amazing vibe, from people working there and the place itself. The Empanadas are to die for; carnitas, espinaca & cheese, ropa vieja. Can't go wrong with either! They do breakfasts too. We went for dinner, had a cuban sandwich (excellent stuff) and a bean soup that was nice too. Caty, the waitress, was amazing!

Absolutely loved this restaurant! It was mt first time in miami even though I live in Florida and we went to calle ocho. This restaurant had live music and he was amazing, the food was a decent price and was absolutely amazing, drinks were fresh strong and the service was friendly and fast! Highly recommend this for a night out. Personally, I wouldnt bring my kids as it was more adult vibes but def worth checking out!
